VISITORS to Sheffield’s Tramlines festival this weekend are urged to use public transport to travel around the city.
Festival goers are being encouraged to catch buses and trams rather than use their cars, and organisers have teamed up with Stagecoach to offer discounted travel on Saturday and Sunday.
A £3 Festival Explorer ticket will provide unlimited tram travel between Sheffield railway station and Shalesmoor, while a £7 Weekender offers unlimited travel on any tram.
A special Busker’s Bus every 15 minutes will connect the city centre with venues further afield, starting at The Hop on Fitzwilliam Street from midday until midnight.
Live performances are promised on the bus from local artists and surprise guests.
