SHE made her name working her magic on gardens across the country in TV’s Ground Force, but Charlie Dimmock will be bringing another sort of sparkle to the stage.
The TV gardener is set to tread the boards in Chesterfield during pantomime season as she appears in Jack and the Beanstalk. Swapping her trowel and gloves for a magic wand, she hopes to cast a spell over audiences as the organic fairy.
Charlie will appear alongside former X Factor finalist Andy Steed and funnyman Rik Gaynor at the Pomegranate Theatre, Corporation Street when panto season starts on December 7.
Crowds can expect the usual mix of heroes and villains and audience participation which make the panto one of Britain’s best loved traditions.
