Hidden gems could be uncovered in South Yorkshire when filming for a BBC series takes place.

Experts from Antiques Road Trip will visit Rotherham and Cawthorne, near Barnsley, as they compete to find the best items and make the most money at auction.

Mark Stacey and Charles Hanson will drive classic cars and seek out hidden gems as well as visiting historic and cultural sites.

The South Yorkshire visits will be screened between Monday, January 19, and Friday, January 23.

Andrew Robertson, executive producer at STV Productions, said: “The show continues to entertain with plenty of laughs and friendly rivalries as our charismatic experts take to the road for a tenth time.”

The show is screened every weekday at 4.30pm.
