Have your say

THE weather might be unpredictable – but the sun is always shining in The Star.

We asked readers to send in their best sunshine snaps – and here are just a few of the super selection which landed in our email, on our Facebook page and via The Star’s Twitter account.

From golden images of grandchildren which warmed the heart, to holiday photos at home and abroad, your sparkling shots reflect the way you are spending summer.

Images could be snapped anywhere – in the garden, the streets of the city centre, on a day trip out, or on summer holidays to sunnier climes.

Jason White has captured the busy Sheffield by the Seaside event which is taking place in the Peace Gardens in the city centre, while Keith Bown, of Sheffield, has snapped people enjoying the sunshine at Tinsley Locks in the city. David Fletcher has sent in a picture of the Derwent Valley.

Gina Mitchell has sent in an image from Pisa in Italy, while Terry Tiller, from Kelham Island, Sheffield, has sent in a picture of rooftops on the Greek island of Santorini.

There is still time to send us your pictures, which we will endeavour to publish in The Star and online on our website:

n Email them to news@thestar.co.uk with Summer Snaps in the subject field.

n Post them on our Facebook fan page – www.facebook.com/sheffieldstar.

n Or tweet us @SheffieldStar.
