Several city centre buses will be diverted from their normal routes during Sheffield Half Marathon next weekend.
Road closures from 7.30am to 12.30pm on Sunday, April 6, will see many of the city’s central buses diverted from their normal route.
Ecclesall Road, Attercliffe Road and Nether Edge services will be particularly affected.
Tram replacement bus services will also run from Angel Street and Hillsborough due to maintenance work on the tracks.
Yellow route trams will operate between Meadowhall and the city centre, and blue routes will run from Halfway to Infirmary Road.
David Young, South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive’s deputy director general, said: “If you have tired legs after the run, let the bus and tram drivers chauffeur you home. If you are planning to come into Sheffield make sure you know about the changes and allow a little longer for your journey.”
