ROTHERHAM through the ages is captured in a new book looking at how the town’s landscape has evolved down the decades.
Rotherham Then and Now showcases how the area has changed over the centuries while acting as a poignant reminder of times gone by.
The book includes rare Victorian photographs from the town’s archives, researched by authors Margaret and Christopher Drinkall.
From the Coronation Bridge and the Cattle Market to the Chapel on the Bridge and the Regal Theatre, the key areas of the town are covered.
Margaret, who lives in the town, has written several books on the history of Rotherham.
Christopher, who has provided all the modern photography used in this book, also lives in Yorkshire.
