Tickets have gone on sale for the annual Bradfield Festival of Music.
The special guest at this year’s week-long musical celebration will be internationally acclaimed classical guitarist Miloš Karadaglić, who will be joined by classical accordionist Ksenija Siderova for a concert at St Nicholas’ Church, High Bradfield, on June 21.
The concert forms part of a strong line-up for the popular annual South Yorkshire festival which runs from June 21 to 28.
Other major names include multi-award winning international vocal group VOCES8, Fine Arts Brass, cellist Laura Van der Heijden, pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, the Endellion String Quartet and the Bones Apart Trombone Quartet.
And to celebrate the Tour de France coming to South Yorkshire, the festival will reach its climax on June 28 with Vive la France, a tour of French music and song.
“Our aim is always to bring a variety of musicians that includes professional artists with a national reputation as well as the best of local amateur groups, and give an opportunity for young musicians to perform in public,” said festival secretary Keith Hoyland.
