TICKETS are on sale for the latest show by a Sheffield drama group.
Steel Valley Beacon Arts, based in Stocksbridge, is performing Haroun and the Sea of Stories, a story written for his son by controversial author Salman Rushdie.
A spokeswoman for the theatre group said: “The play takes Haroun to strange lands inhabited by fantastical people to try to get back his dad’s gift of the gab and bring his family together.”
The show is on each evening at The Venue, Stocksbridge, from Thursday, October 25, to Saturday, October 27, from 7.30pm.
Matinees are at 1.30pm on Thursday and Friday.
