OOH I say!

Comedian turned panto dame Damian Williams shows Sheffield’s Supertram is the height of fashion when modelling his latest outfit for the Christmas show.

Williams is starring as Nurse Nellie in Sleeping Beauty at The Lyceum - the fourth year running he’s appeared in the theatre’s annual panto.

The tram costume has been created because Stagecoach Supertram is one of the sponsors of the show, which runs from Friday, December 9, to Sunday, January 8.

It is one of no less than 13 outfits Damian will be wearing in total - but the 40-year-old is tight-lipped about the rest of his packed wardrobe.

He said: “People will have to wait until they come along for the show!”

Damian showed off his tram costume at the Cathedral stop in Sheffield city centre, wowing crowds of passers-by.

Other stars taking to the stage include Margi Clarke, from Coronation Street, who is appearing as the Wicked Queen.

The show will be written and directed by Paul Hendy and be produced by the same team who brought Peter Pan to the Lyceum last year.
