OH, the joys of Spring!
Little Estelle Maher, aged four, from Sheffield, was one of hundreds of youngsters who took part in an Easter egg trail at Renishaw Hall on the outskirts of the city.
But she left the trail to run through the bluebells flowering in the 17th-century hall’s gardens.
The beautiful display of woodland flowers is now at its peak and is expected to remain at its best for another week or so.
Entertainments at the hall also included face painting and a Punch and Judy show.
Renishaw Hall is open from Wednesday to Sunday each week, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
