DONCASTER’s emerging talents in the arts took over the Doncaster Dome to show off their abilities.
Hundreds of visitors watched as Doncaster College and the University Centre Doncaster ran its annual showcase events.
The shows were the culmination of several years of hard work and dedication by students in subjects including fashion and textiles design, graphic design, fine art, dance and music.
Visual artists provided a static exhibition at the venue, while music, dance and drama students took to the stage to display their talents in front of an audience.
The finale of the show was the college’s annual fashion show, where dozens of students paraded their work in front of friends, family and industry experts.
Head of the School of Arts Debbie Pulleyblank said: “This event always provides us with a great opportunity to showcase the exceptional, creative diversity and professional design and realisation skills of Doncaster College and University Centre art students and graduates.
“Also exhibiting were several artists who have been taking part in the national Artists Access to Art Colleges scheme at University Centre Doncaster. Artist Terry Chipp said: “I’ve found the experience very rewarding.”
