Night Art Market, Shalesmoor
The Nichols Building, which houses a vintage and arts and crafts centre, is the venue for a night market tomorrow, Thursday (September 5).
The market will be showcasing local artists, designers and photographers, alongside a choice of street food.
There will also be live music courtesy of Sheffield-based creative organisation Artificial Constructs.
The centre and Eat@Nichols cafe will also be open until 8pm for people wanting to shop for vintage bargains and grab a cuppa.
Entry is £2 per adult and children get in free.
Organiser Lauren Sanderson said: “Past night markets have seen a fantastic turnout and have received praise for their uniqueness and promotion of local businesses, both from customers and traders alike.”
Meanwhile, at The Venue in Stocksbridge, retro fans can also call in at a new Antique Vintage Fayre.
The fayre, which takes place on Sunday, September 22, is the first to be run at the community and performing arts centre by Fox and Moon Fayres. It promises to be an eclectic mix of memorabilia, antiques and vintage items.
The Venue also sees the return of its popular indoor car boot sales this month.
As the mornings become chillier and darker, bargain-hunters can benefit from a more civilised mid-morning start and also a warm, comfortable environment in which to browse and sell.
The indoor car boots return on September 14 with buyers able to browse from 10am. Cost for sellers is £10 and includes a table. All spaces must be booked and paid for in advance.
