A LACE and textile celebration day is being held in Chesterfield on Saturday.
The event, at Clay Cross Adult Community Education Centre in Market Street, Clay Cross, will run from 10am to 4pm.
Guest speaker Sharon Rowland will talk about her flock of Lincoln Longwool sheep and display some of her work created using their fleece.
She will host a workshop on making woollen yarn and Rita Harwood, of Woodland Teddies, will be running a workshop on needle-felting for beginners.
Stallholders will sell needlework materials, kits, books, lace-making equipment, glass beads, and mounts for craft work.
Coun Mike Longden, from Derbyshire County Council, said: “This event will celebrate the skills of talented crafts people.”
