Sheffield United is helping dreams come true - by giving local teams the chance to play on a professional club’s pitch.

From corporate events and inter-company matches, to charity events or games between friends, Bramall Lane is available for the last week of May.

A team from Sheffield-based KnowHow is set to play a game after taking United up on its offer last year too.

A match co-ordinator, referee, stewards and a safety officer will all be provided by the club, and entry to the Lane will be free for spectators.

Dave McCarthy, Operations Director at Sheffield United, said: “Bramall Lane is the world’s oldest professional football ground in continuous use, and the chance to play here is one that I’m sure will be snapped up.”

Prices range from £1,850 to £2,795, and discounts will be offered to those who book before 28 February.
