A record crowd of over 7,000 made this year’s Stannington Carnival the most successful ever - with many folk already looking forward to next year’s event.

Highlights included performances by the Eaglets cheerleaders, over 50 classic cars on show, a military display, medieval jousting, belly dancing and martial arts.
