SHEFFIELD University students are working to make their career dreams a reality through a unique collaboration with theatre professionals from The Crucible.
The project is a production of The Rover, a classic Restoration comedy by Britain’s first professional female playwright Aphra Benn.
The play will run from March 28 to 31 at the university’s drama studio.
The challenge is giving students direct responsibility for designing, stage managing, performing and publicising a play to the highest industry standards.
The students have had the chance to work with The Crucible’s Andrew Lorretto, Daniel Evans and Marieke Audsley, who is directing the production. Marieke has recently worked on The Way of the World and Othello.
