Still time for young people to join weight classes

PLACES on new children’s weight management clubs in Doncaster are still available.

Organisers say CWM Clubs are a great way to make friends, boost self-esteem and lose weight as a family, as well as being free because they are funded by NHS Doncaster.

Clubs for children aged four to 10 are staged every Saturday at Edlington Victoria Primary School, Victoria Road, from 10am to 12pm, and The Dome, Doncaster Lakeside, every Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. Parents and children need to attend for the full two hours.

Clubs for young people aged 11 to 17 are every Saturday at Sir Thomas Wharton Community College, Edlington, from 12.30pm to 4pm, and The Dome, every Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm.

Parents and clubbers need to attend for the full two hours for 12 sessions. Places are free and can be booked by calling Samantha Bramald on 0113 8125348 or emailing s.bramald@leedsmet.ac.uk.
