JARVIS Cocker and Pete Mckee are guest contributors to the first edition of a new arts magazine created by girls at a Sheffield school.

The Pulp front man and the popular cartoonist feature in Ganda, put together by four students at the City School at Stradbroke – which will raise funds for Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

The magazine was launched with a live video conference from Red Tape Studios in the city centre, where a £100 award from the Big Challenge fund was presented – and was immediately donated to the hospital.

Ganda will come out twice a year, featuring an anthology of writing, photography and artwork. Edition one features work from City, Intake Primary and Stocksbridge High.
