A NEW comedy play is to make its debut in Sheffield.
Straight, which focuses on male friendship and sexuality, will be premiered at The Crucible’s Studio Theatre, on Thursday, November 1.
Sheffield Theatres’ board member, actor Richard Wilson is directing the production.
Award-winning DC Moore is the British writer behind the play, based on the film Humpday.
It runs until Saturday, November 24, before it transfers to London’s Bush Theatre.
Straight is being supported by Sheffield law firm Hill Dickinson, which is funding new writing and projects at Sheffield theatres over the next three years.
