BOSSES at Robin Hood Airport are expecting a rush on a service to Belfast later this month for St Patrick’s Day.
Officials are expecting a high demand from travellers wanting to celebrate St Patrick’s Day on March 17 by sampling genuine Irish hospitality.
Mike Morton, airport director, said: “Belfast is a popular destination anyway but, with it being virtually on the doorstep in terms of flying time, we’re sure many couples, families and parties will want to experience the celebrations for real on St Patrick’s Day.”
Flybe operates flights to Belfast six days a week from Doncaster.
The city has lined up a whole week of events including concerts, theatre productions, and children’s activities and sporting spectaculars around March 17.
