A NEW leaflet detailing an autumn series of railway walks, organised by the Penistone Line Partnership, has just been published.
Walks co-ordinator Stuart Parker said: “We feature 10 walks held on Saturdays between now and the end of December. They all use Northern Rail train services departing from Sheffield, with most taking place between stations on the Penistone Line from Sheffield, Barnsley and Huddersfield.
“But sometimes we head off to somewhere different, such as North Nottinghamshire, always by train.”
The walks are free and vary in length from eight to 11 miles. Everyone is welcome to take part.
