ALMOST £1,000 was raised at a colourful concert for Sheffield charity Neurocare.
Singers from South Yorkshire choir BeVox dressed all in black, each with one eye-catching coloured accessory, for the Real Variety Performance at the Victoria Hall Methodist Church.
Alongside the choir, invited guests Nycha Dance Creations and Concord Youth Music entertained a capacity crowd, and raised £934.54 in the process.
Choir leader Tim Allen said: “BeVox plans to continue raising funds for local charities over the summer months, with plans for a concert at Sheffield Cathedral in support of the Cathedral Archer Project for the homeless, and a large charity gala in Buxton later in the year, supporting the Air Ambulance.”
BeVox is open to singers aged 16 and above, with no auditions, and no requirement to read music.
