A pub in Sheffield city centre is to re-open this week following a £300,000 refurbishment.
The Bessemer on Leopold Street was bought by the Stonegate Pub Company from the administrators of previous owner, Bramwell Pub Company, in November.
It is to re-open on Wednesday, with the creation of 10 new jobs.
The pub has been re-designed with new décor and furniture throughout. It also boasts a bigger dance floor.
General Manager Andrew Baker said: “The Bessemer has always been one of Sheffield’s favourite destination pubs but it’s been in need of refurbishment for a while, so with this makeover we couldn’t be more thrilled.”
It will open its doors from 5pm on Wednesday, with complimentary prosecco and canapés for locally invited business customers and VIP guests.
The pub will open daily from 10am, when breakfasts will be served.
The first floor mezzanine area, which can accommodate up to 100 people, can be hired for functions.
