An exhibition aimed at raising awareness of the psychological and emotional aspect of domestic abuse will open in Sheffield tomorrow.

Darkness v Light is a photographic display of self-portraits by Sheffield mum Rebecca Litchfield, who is a survivor of emotional domestic abuse.

Rebecca will also show a variety of landscapes, from sunsets over the Norfolk coast, through to aspects of the Peak District.

The exhibition will act as place of sanctuary for those in need of support and will help to signpost domestic violence victims in the direction of help.

The preview night is on December 3, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, at Gallery 35 on Chapel Walk, Sheffield. It will then run from 10am to 5:30pm until December 13, apart from on December 7 when the gallery is closed.
