A Sheffield couple are recovering after completing the Transvulcania - the long distance race considered the hardest mountain-ultramarathon of its kind.

Lianna and Duncan Bell, from Bents Green, covered a 73km route, reaching heights of 2,500 metres on La Palma in the Canary Islands.

Lianna, who is the fundraising database co-ordinator at St Luke’s Hospice, raised £200.
