Two Sheffield city centre business are preparing to host Chinese New Year celebrations.
Genting Club Sheffield, in St Paul’s Place, starts its celebration at midnight on Tuesday, February 17.
Dancers will perform, while a special buffet will be laid on and lucky money red envelopes handed out.
Kath Barton, general manager, said: “We are expecting about 1,000 guests as it’s the most important festival in the Chinese calendar and a popular night out.”
Customers and staff at Wong Ting, on Matilda Street, will be raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance during celebrations on Friday, February 20.
There will be a traditional Chinese lion dance, as well as traditional dancers, a raffle and disco until 1am.
