The Workstation cultural industries hub in Sheffield city centre is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The centre on Paternoster Row, that also houses the Showroom independent cinema, is home to more than 60 business in the creative and digital industries sector.
The building that had been a derelict car showroom became the city’s regeneration plan in the face of the decline of jobs in traditional industries like steel.
Some of its biggest successes include being the production base for the film The Full Monty and being home to Sheffield DocFest. Its well-known past and present tenants include Forced Entertainment theatre company, Last Laugh comedy brand and Warp Records.
