Bloggers in Sheffield united for a day of networking and nattering at Valley Centertainment in the city.
More than a dozen bloggers from the region met at Handmade Burger Co in an event organised by Billie Hyde, of iambillie.com.
Billie said: “It was an opportunity for a few local bloggers to meet up and connect.
“I believe Sheffield has an amazing community of bloggers, but think there should be more opportunities up North for bloggers to meet.”
Bloggers are people who run a blog – or web log. It is a web page which serves as a publicly accessible personal journal for an individual.
Billie uses her blog to write about beauty tips, share recipes, review a variety of products and discuss any issues which she feels are important.
Past blog posts include such topics as getting a tattoo, recipes for cocktails and how to survive without the internet.
The restaurant supplied food for the event and staff from the Lush store in Meadowhall attended to discuss their products.
Billie said: “Lush were very generous and gave all the bloggers hand and arm massages then left us with some lovely samples of the products.”
