It might have been too cold for these former scouts to sit round a camp fire and relive their glory days, but that will not put off current members.

Old boys and girls of the 59th Sheffield Scouts had an event to celebrate the centenary of the group and reminisce about their days with the organisation.

The following day they attended a parade at St Augustine’s Church, Endcliffe, where they presented current scouts with a commemorative flag.

The flag is set to get its first outing this weekend in Chapeltown, when scouts will bed down under canvas.
