SMILING Megan Moore was one excited youngster queuing to meet Santa when he called in at Parson Cross.
He took a break from gift-making with his elves to visit Margetson Christmas Market, on Margetson Crescent, on Saturday.
Seasonal food, market stalls selling crafts and gifts galore plus fun fairground rides for youngsters were on offer.
Kate Guest, Parson Cross Forum regeneration manager, said: “There were lots of attractions and entertainment for people of all ages, and plenty of festive fun.
“We had a good turnout despite the weather. Father Christmas was definitely the star attraction – people queued outside the church.”
Lord Mayor Coun Dr Sylvia Dunkley was among visitors as people bought ‘reindeer food’ for Rudolph.
Sheffield Homes supported the event, hoping to drum up interest in forming a tenants’ and residents’ association for the area.
