Have your say

Ho ho ho! Just 11 days to go!

Mrs Claus has made me a brand new red suit to wear on Christmas Eve. It’s lovely but, when I tried it on over the weekend, it was too small.

She made it the same size as last year but I’ve obviously been eating too many mince pies - the gold buttons on the front popped right off as soon as I fastened them! So now I’m on a diet. When the elves are tucking into their afternoon cake and cookies, I’m only allowed carrot sticks. I feel like a reindeer!

Mrs Claus can be very strict when she wants to be and she insists I fit into my suit by Christmas Eve so that I can get down all your chimneys.

I do so look forward to all the delicious treats you leave out for me on Christmas Eve, so if I’m good till then I’ll be able to eat what I want on the big night. Until then, my only treat is low fat hot chocolate at bedtime.

I’m really looking forward to coming back to South Yorkshire this year, my little friends. Rudolph always makes sure we fly over Meadowhall on our visit as he likes to see it all lit up. We’ve heard that the cookies they sell there are almost as good as the ones at the North Pole!

Don’t forget to email me your letters, boys and girls, to Santa Claus, care of staronline@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk. I’d love to hear how your Christmas preparations are going.

See you all in 11 sleeps...

Love Santa x
