Ten cyclists carrying models of the Olympic torch are being joined by students across Derbyshire on a 100-mile cycle through the Peak District.
The riders, which include GB athlete Leon Taylor, started on Wednesday - 100 days until the Olympics - and were heading for Chesterfield, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton during the three-day event.
Pupils from the areas were joining the riders as they go through their paces.
Jim Dixon, Peak District National Park Authority chief executive, said: “The event aims to raise awareness of the Games to pupils in schools across Derbyshire.
“It is also a great opportunity to promote the fantastic off-road cycling routes in the park.”
