BOLLYWOOD glamour came to Rotherham – and raised £2,000 for a dementia charity.
Presented by the United Multicultural Centre, the Bollywood Ball was held at Rotherham United’s New York Stadium.
Lost Chord, which provides interactive musical stimulation for people living with dementia, was a beneficiary of the event, along with Rotherham Hospice and Rotherham Hospital Charity.
Helena Muller, Lost Chord chief executive, said: “Music touches all our lives in so many ways and is vital for making a link with people living with dementia.
“Here it was the music of Bollywood that made a difference. We are grateful for the support of the United Multicultural Centre and all the effort of Parveen Qureshi and her staff.
