A riding group for disabled people in Rotherham has received a £9,910 grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
High Hopes Riding for the Disabled Group offers lessons in both riding and stable management and caters for all disabilities, including physical and learning.
Those who take part gain confidence and become more independent, while getting to take part in healthy outdoors pursuits and experiencing the enjoyment of animal husbandry.
The funding will help the group to purchase new riding equipment, including a hoist, horse trap and new saddles.
It will also enable the group to provide more riding and animal care experiences for children and adults with disabilities or special educational needs.
