VISITORS to the Tramlines festival in Sheffield can enjoy live music while supping speciality brews on a new ‘blues and ale trail’.

The trail features rhythm and blues artists playing live in real ale pubs around Sheffield during the event, which runs from July 22 to 24.

City centre pubs taking part will be The University Arms, The Bath Hotel and The Harlequin, as well as Kelham Island Tavern, Gardeners Rest, The Fat Cat and The Riverside.

Performances will also happen on the trail’s main stage at the Creative Arts Development Space, Shalesmoor.

Live acts appearing include The Hummingbird Blues Band and Billy Martin Jr.
