AN ORCHESTRA from a South Yorkshire primary is taking part this week in the Music for Youth Schools Prom at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The 28 pupils, aged nine to 12, from Silkstone Common Juniors and Infants, a small village school near Barnsley will be performing three numbers, Sh! Sh!, Dilley Dance and Jigsaw Dance, under the guidance of director Kathryn Smith.

In all, 3,000 young people from across the country will take part in concerts at the famous venue.
