THE landlord of a Peak District pub disturbed three burglars raiding his home while he served in the bar downstairs.
Police said the landlord of the Bridge Inn, Calver, in the Hope Valley, heard noises and when he went to investigate he found three men searching his living quarters.
They were chased by two customers but managed to escape with jewellery along Duke Drive.
One burglar was aged in teens, 5ft 1in, slim, and wearing a dark hooded top. Another was around 6ft 1in, stocky, and wearing a balaclava. Anyone with information about the break-in at 6.45am on Saturday January 15 should call police on 0345 1233333.
