SPROTBROUGH is set to go wheelie crazy next month with the sixth annual ‘jam and competition’ at the village skate park.
This year’s event at the Anchorage Lane venue will include music, food, games and a chance to see talented local BMX riders and skateboard experts compete for prizes.
Steve Gratton, chairman of the skate park’s Area51 user group, said: “There are many very talented young people in the area and the jam is a chance for them to show everyone what they can do. We have some fantastic prizes for the best skate, BMX and scooter riders. We urge everyone of all ages to come down and enjoy the day, especially if you never been to a wheeled sports event before.”
n The event will run from 10.30am until 6.30pm on Sunday, July 3.
