Doub7e Seven Day, Barker’s Pool

Events company Doub7e Seven is celebrating its 10th anniversary industry by hosting a public event showcasing the talents of some of its clients.

These include magicians, stilt walkers , the party band Northern Xposure, a mime artist, a 10-year-old comedian, a Caribbean steel band, Pirates and their Galleon Ship and a face painter.

There’s also the chance to have a go on a rodeo bull.

There will be a competition to see which rider can stay on the bull the longest.

Visitors can also take part in a music competition, Made in Sheffield.

They will have a choice of ten tracks originating from Sheffield and can vote for their favourite.

At the end of the day, the name of one of the visitors who voted for the top song will be drawn from a hat and will win a prize.

Executive director Roop Mullins will be offering free event advice, which includes ideas and inspiration for events or entertainment, as well as DJing for the day.

The event is part of Sheffield City Council’s Summer Saturdays programme and will also raise money for the Weston Park Hospital Charity.

Volunteers will be asking people to sign up to the charity’s Torch-Lit Walk, endorsed by city Olympic star Jessica Ennis-Hill, which takes place on September 28.
