A charity party night to mark what would have been Elvis Presley’s 80th birthday is being held in Sheffield on Thursday January 8.

The event in aid of St Luke’s Hospice is at the Railway hotel, Penistone Road, Wadsley Bridge, starting at 7.30pm, and features Elvis requests, a quiz and music from tribute band Steve Del Rio and the Dixie Mafia.

DJ Mike Lawton who is running the night said the King’s music still lived on - with many fans who were not born when he died.
