Doris Stubbs said: “We follow a group of painters and decorators as they struggle to make ends meet. They live in a world where poverty is always just around the corner, there was no welfare state, no NHS and few employment rights.”
Tickets are available for dates at The Venue, Stocksbridge, on Friday and Saturday February 3 and 4. Call 0114 283 8692 to book.
