GRAB a friend, coordinate all four legs and get ready for the great pantomime animal race.
The tenth annual Ruskin Park Fun Day, part of Walkley Festival, takes place on Saturday and crazy creatures in dazzling costumes are the order of the day.
The community event is organised by Friends of Ruskin Park and runs from 1pm to 6pm with stalls and children’s activities including inflatables and a climbing wall.
There will be music from Dexter Dexterous, The Dub Cats, Roulement, Carl Woodford, Frozac DJS and St Mary’s School Brass Band as well as an appearance from Madame Zucchini.
Funseekers are invited to compete in the race dressed as pantomime animals with creatures with four or more legs particularly welcome.
A spokesman said: “If you don’t have a costume, Art in the Park will be on hand from 1pm to 3pm running a build-your-own two-legged hobby horse session.
“The course is to be run as a steeplechase with its own version of Beechers Brook.”
The race starts at 3.30pm and there will be prizes for the most original costume or name, best outfit from recycled materials and best hobby horse.
