A POP-UP playpark is set to pay a visit to Sheffield to celebrate the summer holidays.
Youngsters will get the chance to enjoy a free day of fun with the M Savers Summer Play Park, which will be in the city centre today and tomorrow.
The event is part of Morrisons and Play England’s Summer Savers campaign, which offers parents free and low cost ideas on how to keep the kids entertained throughout the summer holiday.
A vast array of wacky games - from a spaghetti swingball, tick-tack-toe to a ketchup slide - will be on offer to children in the playground. There will also be face-painting, butterfly painting and kite-making for crafty kids to have a go at.
Parents are invited to get money-saving tips from the M Savers team of experts while their little ones are playing.
A spokeswoman for Morrisons said: “With a third of parents predicting that they’ll be in debt this summer due to the school holidays, this offers free and low cost ideas on how to keep the kids entertained throughout the break.”
The playground will be open to the public in Tudor Square from 10am until 6pm each day.
