SHE may be diminutive but pocket rocket Jessica Ennis has already proved size isn’t everything.

Now these tiny models of the superstar heptathlete are taking the internet by storm.

The custom ‘minifig’ Lego creations were made by Caroline Savage, of Stannington, who is crafting the entire team of GB gold medallists to show her appreciation of the nation’s success at the London Olympics.

Caroline, a scientist at The University of Sheffield, says the ‘hometown girl done good’ model has been popular with fans online.

The 32-year-old - who started making models of the Sheffield Steel Rollergirls as she plays in the roller derby squad - said: “As soon as I put the pictures online people were asking me to make a Mo Farah too.

“Everbody is posting the pictures and sharing them.

“It probably takes me about an hour to make each one but it can take longer.

“I’ve made a nice one of Bradley Wiggins which I haven’t put on yet.

“You’ve got to have a creative side.”
