Organisers have been forced to cancel the production of Peter Pan at Doncaster Racecourse due to slow ticket sales.

Producers Stadium Entertainments Events Limited and Doncaster Racecourse have announced the cancellation of the show that was set to take place between December 12 2014 and January 04 2015.

Producer David Lee said: “It is hugely regrettable that we have had to make the decision to withdraw the production. This decision was taken after considerable deliberation and analysis of sales that unfortunately have not met required levels to date.

“I’d like to thank all of the cast and crew and especially the junior cast members who have worked so hard on what promised to be a fantastic production, and of course the members of the public who had purchased tickets.”

Mark Spincer, managing director at Doncaster Racecourse said: “It is hugely disappointing for all concerned. We can offer our assurances that refunds will be processed as quickly as possible.” Contact 01302 304 265.
