A JOB centre in Sheffield is holding free internet sessions to help jobseekers learn how to access vacancies on the web.
Jobcentre Plus, in Cavendish Court, is hosting the workshops from January 17 to February 14, with staff on hand to help participants get to grips with computers and the internet.
The sessions are part of a nationwide campaign to encourage people without internet access to go online, including setting up an email address.
Ann Jackson, Jobcentre Plus' district manager for South Yorkshire, said: "New technology means you can search for jobs, advertise your skills and even contact people who are in the same position as you to share job-seeking tips.
"Every working day Jobcentre Plus receives 15,000 new job vacancies. In this digital age, jobseekers are really missing out if they don't have basic IT skills."
