Nature and soccer will be coming together in an unusual children’s outdoor event in Doncaster on Friday, from 10am to 1pm.
Youngsters who meet up at the Sandall Beat Community Environment Centre, off Leger Way, Intake, will be taken on a trek by woodland rangers through the trees to the Doncaster Rovers training ground in Cantley Park.
There they will watch the Rovers players in a training session before having a go themselves when they take part in a fun soccer skills session at the ground.
n Places cost £2 per child and packed lunch is required. Call the countryside rangers on 01302 300798 to book a place.
