News In Brief: Waiting game for town shopkeepers

Have your say

the owners of Bawtry’s shops and businesses are keenly awaiting the outcome of the Best Dressed Window competition organised by the town council.

Directors of Excel Parking Services, who manage the town’s car parks and toilets, will again be inspecting the windows and making the big decision on who keeps the trophy for the next 12 months.

Food appeal

staff at Taylor’s grocery store in Tickhill are collecting items to benefit good causes.

Boxes have been placed close to the front entrance of the Market Place store so customers can donate gifts of foodstuffs that will be distributed by the Salvation Army, while pet food will go to the Thornberry Animal Charity and Babworth Dog Rescue.
