Giant egg raffled off for youngsters

A RAFFLE in aid of Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, to win a giant Easter egg, will be drawn in Sheffield city centre this Friday – and a similar egg will be presented to Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Staff at Ask Italian restaurant on Cambridge Street have organised the event at 5pm. The raffle and giveaway is part of a company bid to raise £1 million for charity over three years.

Children cash in

schoolchildren from South Yorkshire and Derbyshire are taking part in My Money Week in June, designed to educate young people about handling finances.

Harthill Primary, Old Hall Juniors, The Willows, Handsworth Grange and Meadowhead are among the schools taking part.

A night with swing
