Leadmill contest

LIVE music, art and drawing competitions are on the menu this Thursday at the Leadmill in Sheffield.

The event to celebrate the launch of the Leadmill Legends Mural – a piece of artwork by Chloe Thomas – starts at 7pm.

Health directors

TWO non executive directors will serve a second term of office on a local health trust’s board.

Lawson Pater and Jim Marr, whose terms of office were due to come to an end this month, have been reappointed to the roles at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust until November 30, 2015.

City gadget addicts

JUST eight per cent of Sheffield residents can live without gadgets such as computers and mobile phones, a survey has found. The research was commissioned by Motorola and found 74 per cent of city residents quizzed rated their computers as their most vital gadget with mobiles second and televisions third.

New face on team

A FINANCIAL adviser with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry has joined the new Blundells sales office in Wickersley, Rotherham.

Glyn Jenkinson has joined the team of four at the branch, which opened in September.
